Introducing: FREEBIE FRIDAY

I'm excited to announce a new periodic post called Freebie Friday where I share a free downloadable file on Fridays. This week's freebie is a pair of pillow boxes. I'm calling them my Anytime Dots Pillow Boxes. Perfect for little gifts, notes or gift cards anytime. Just click on the name to download, print out, cut out and fold them up! enjoy!

*you'll have to be surprised at what they look like-I'm afraid the memory card in my camera has gone missing (I hope a little someone didn't discover it).

dinosaur party decor

With the help of my good friend Shay we managed to make this cake. Cake's and me usually equal disaster. It was surprisingly rewarding to have one that didn't look like a mud slide waiting to happen.

fabric and paper

I've been working on a little something the last couple of days. Still needs some tweaking-but since I don't have a pattern I think it's coming along. The hunny says there are too many flowers. But he's all about symmetrical design. I can't decide.

I also whipped up a few birthday cards this afternoon. The little buddy loves helping me set eyelets-in fact the green card he helped with the whole thing. When he gets too into my projects some times I start to feel a little panicked or frazzled to keep him out of this and focused on that. If it's a craft designed for him it's not so bad, but when I'm doing my thing I start to get a little freaked out if he touches too much. I hope I'm not the only one. Today it worked out alright though. Some good bonding time.

*Oh, and a little side note about all the cards, I like to take pictures of them more for my own benefit so I know what I've done. It's nice to come back and get ideas if I'm having a brain freeze. Thanks for bearing with me.

googly eye finger puppets

Googly eyes are a lot of fun. The little buddy REALLY wanted to put them everywhere the other day. So I pulled out a mate less glove and cut the finger's off-it was perfect for finger puppets. Aren't googly eyes great?

ribbon rosettes

I LOVE this ribbon rosette tutorial found over at Cute as a Fox. It is simple and easy, and cute for any age girl. I tried it out with white ribbon and was in love. I made it into a brooch. Perfect for Mother's Day, eh?
