a yellow quilt
I've decided to tackle a baby quilt. I haven't made a quilt in probably 8 years. I blame it on hand quilting a full size quilt last time around. We're going to see if my machine can handle the quilting with a baby quilt this time. I'm keeping it basic with a stripe of pieced yellow strips off centered and white on both sides.
I'm also pretty excited about this yellow and orange vintage sheet I found thrifting a few weeks ago. It will be perfect for the back!
Have I ever mentioned I really like yellow?

I can't even tell you how much the idea of sewing a quilt stresses me out. But I sooo want to do it. I want to make a quilt with old t-shirt pieces from my high school days. I'm probably asking for trouble with such a big project.
Love the yellow fabric! Just bought a lemon fabric just like yours for a garment bag I'm hoping to make this week.
Kimberly-I think it's the idea that it's going to be a BIG project that is the stresser for quilts, eh? A quilt with old t-shirts would be awesome though. I'm sure you can find a tutorial out there that will make it seem easier and less stressful. And then try tying it instead of quilting it. That will make it a lot easier!
So cute, I love it, and awesome find with the sheet, I am on the hunt for one to use as a table cover for the craft fair. Please let me know if you need help with anything!
