FF- Squirrel & Oak Silhouettes

The little buddy LOVES squirrels. He likes to chase them whenever he sees them at the park. That's just about every time. It's fun to have them around. I didn't grow up in a place with large bushy tailed squirrels and so it's a bit of a novelty for me too. They're just kinda fun, and make me think of fall.

I thought I'd share some of the squirrel love with this 4 x 6 inch squirrel image and an oak leaf to boot! They're part of the forest animal silhouettes grouping. (The other 3 I'm selling through etsy- don't hate me). Perfect for framing in those glittery frames you've started, I'm thinking gold or green . . . of course I can't use the orange ones now that I said I would. Anyway, get the goods here.

For the turkey, rabbit, and deer check out my etsy shop! For those three type FreebieFriday in the notes to seller box and get a 30% discount. enjoy!

Oh, and in case you're wondering, I'm hosting the downloads through a different place, hence the different link destination.

These are wonderful. Thanks!

Also, I have a printing question for you, if you don't mind my asking. I know you have an Etsy shop, so if you'd prefer not to share I totally understand. Anyway, here's my question. What kind of paper do you print on? Sometimes I'll see great stuff on your site and it looks great in the pictures you have all printed out, but sometimes when I print pretty artwork out on just my plain old white cardstock it's kind of... lame. I mean, like it's fine to use as a tag or a little box or something, but I wouldn't want to put it on the wall, you know? Do you have any good paper recommendations? Also, I just have a regular little printer. Are my downloaded prints likely to look better if printed out at a copy shop or something? Just curious.

Katie- I hear ya on it not always looking as good as you'd like. The printer I use was $30 on Black Friday two years ago. It's cheap. Seriously cheap. Partly why I like using patterns. But the thing that really makes the hugest difference is the paper you buy. Really cheap cardstock soaks up the ink and and makes it look bad. Buy a smoother finished cardstock and even a cheap printer won't look too bad. If you're not sure what's got a smoother finish it's probably the more expensive one :) Good luck!

I just bought the whole set from Etsy....thanks! If you don't mind a suggestion, I would love to have some winter prints in the same sizes as the Thanksgiving Silhouettes - then I can reuse the same frames and the same hooks on my wall. Thanks for your hard work!

The Miller Family- great suggestion. I actually have a nativity silhouette in the works. I'll see what I can do. No guarantees I can make it look good with the same sizes though, so we'll see.
